Random Family ch 1-5

The book was hard to get in to but has i get to reading through the book it is getting better. The book really goes into the real details of the drug dealing which is surprising becasue i thought that the trade of the business would be more secret. It is amazing how these people work and operate. The boys have no resepect for the women. The familys seem to have no connection and no trust. It is amazing how they live in the conditions. i really feel bad how these family live and what they do to get money.

When i heard of the Ann Nicole Smith death i knew right away that it was drug related. not that i care about her or celebs that much, but almost all of their deaths are drug related. It is such a shame that all these people are cough up in this type of life. I don't like or want to be friends with these people. I think that they would normally be good people but the place and time is what messes them up.

I think that if the US has the same birth control polici has china did it would cause a uprore here. It is all about the freedom here and i think that just the rule would make people want to have babies. Even thought the family size has decresed in the recent years, the rule would increase that. The tought of it would have people having kids increase.

I don't like scary and i dont know why people watch them. It is stupid and i dont get scared by them. The point of scary movies is of no sense to me

SOme of the things that the celeb do i think is not right. These celeb ahve to know and keep in mind that they have people looking up to them and want to be like them. There are little kids and teenagers that like these people and mirror what these celebs do. I agree that they do have stress and need to relieve it. I prob would go out and relieve some stress but in the mannor that they do. They can do these things in private and nobody has to know!

Q. How can a celebrity not read and believe the tabloids about their lives? If a paper says your spouse cheated on you, would you believe it? What about if there was a picture? Would that change your opinion?

A. If your a celeb and you read thing about you in the tabloids your going to know if it is true or not. so if is a lie you have to deal with it and ignore it. I would have to trust my spouse and know if she is lying or not. In the celeb marry world is not really the best so i would have to talk with her and decide if she is or not. If there were pictures it would still unknown because a picture can have a different appearance. A picture now a days with the technologies a picture can be altered and appear different.


Q. What if you were the judge? What's your decision?

A. It would be a tough decision because these guys have to protect our city's and they made a bad decision in my opinion. I would have to go easy on them because i would not have any doubt that the police officers acted in the best interested in their safety and others.

violence in schools

I think that i would have to report the child as a teacher because it is part of my job to protect the kids. If i were the student it would depend on how well i knew the kid and if i thought if he had the intent to do something about it. It would be a hard decision and i would have to think about it carefully before i got them in trouble. I think in some cases, depending on the kid, it is serious. All actions like that should be punished but with different degrees of punishments. This has an impact on me because i know what it feels like to be picked on. When i was real young I got made fun of but when i started to be taller then everyone else, it stopped. I always stand up for the little guy and defend them. It makes a difference when someone cares and lends a hand. I think people should be a little more careful about the other person fealings, rather then there own.

I think fairy tails teach very important morals for kids, its a nice way to entertain them and teach them something at the same time. It also gives the parent and child a connection that when the parent herd the same story and is passing it to their child. The fairy tale sticks with the child and reminds them not to talk to strangers or to cry wolf. The storys can also affect and minuplate as in the little red ridding hood where the girl needs help from the man. The storys can be very suggestive in the roles of gender.

I think the voting should be changed to vote for the person who should be voted off. That way your not always voting for your favorite every time. It helps the people think about who did the worst and not just focusing on who your favorite is. It will also give everyone equal viewing time because your looking for the worst not just your favorite.

Fun Read

Over the spring break i read the book Murder In The Supreme Court by Margaret Trueman. It was a good book, and a real page turner. She is a good writer and has written several other mystery books. The women at Barnes and Nobel recommend her. I cant wait to read another one of her books, she really puts you there. It wasn't long before the murder, i think the third chapter, and she took you through every ones motive and opportunities. I can see why she is a popular author.

we had a snow day. there are a good and a bad to a snow day. The good thing is that there is no school. The bad thing is that there is snow to shovel and i am always the one who does it. I dont mind it but our snow blower broke and that means i have to do our driveway by hand. I hate that becase it is big and a pain to do. I really am sick of shovling snow and i cant wait till I move down to NC and only deal with it a couple of times in a small driveway.

Final project

For my final project I am going to do a web page. With the web page i will use what I learned in High School, I took Web Page design classes and I really liked it. I am going to peruse a career in Hospitality Management. I like to deal with customer and provide them with the best experience for their enjoyment.

women and children rights?

I think that we should try and inform people of other cultures that all people are equal and should be treated that way. Unfortunally not everyone is going to follow that theory. As we saw in the video, the men treated women like that because it was part fo thier culture and religion. It can be hard to convince someone in changing what they grew up with. The problem is that when you learn something the first time, like how to treat a women and what are thier roles, it is hard to break that thought because we compare new things to what we already know. It is hard to stray away from what you know to be right. I don't agree with the way they are treating theses kids and women, I just understand the way of reasoning. The only way they are going to realize what they are doing wrong is put them in a women's shoes and see what they have to go through.

men and women

I think that the role between men and women have changed and have not changed. The role of the women def changed from the typical housewife to a woking women. There is more roles that the women can take on in this time of change. The man can even be the "Mr. Mom". The roles of women have changed and will be changing for a long time uven when there is a women president. The role of men has not reallly changed that much over time. He is still the provider and the man of the house and usally the stringest person in the house. This will change only when men and women are true equals.

Last Minute

I just finished my project for Info 273. it is a course that deals with Word, PPT, Excell, and Acess. Well there was this big project due for the Word/PPT section of the course and i left it to the last minute again. I am so good at doing this, I hate it. I always have to stay up late to finish it, but i always get it done. I sometimes do good work, like this project, but others I rush and get a ok grade. I wish I can learn do do things a head of time. I have to sit down and organize a plan on what to do and work a little on it each day, I think is the best way to do it. The big problem is that I plan on doing it ahead of time and just put it off till the next day. I guess ill never change or just get tired and change my ways. Who knows? I tend to be stubborned on certain things and willing to change on others.

I dont like the cold

today was nice because i had the day off, unfortunately it was because Dr. D was sick(get well soon). i don't like to go to school in this cold weather. i put a hole in my back window of my jeep because the plastic was brital because of the cold. I espically hate waiting for the bus, it takes so long. i cant wait for the weekend, it has been a long week. i espically cant wait to get out of this cold weather. in north carolina it is 57, i would love to be there right now. i have just watch a couple eposides of Seinfeld, it is the best show, i have all the seasons out. i have to finish some work because i left it to the night before like a always do.

tuesday's class

tuesday's class was a little shocking. the moos was somber. i think this was because of the topic, i know for me it is distrubing to find out what isgoing on in othere countries that i have never herd of. it def opens your eyes and make you wonder what are people thinking about and what is their reason behind all of this? Tuesday's class was very informational and hard for people to talk about.

who knew?

In the short paragraph it tells that rumors and eyewitness accounts gave the hint that Jews were being killed by the Germans. This makes me think who really knew and just didnt do anything about it. i find i hard to imagine that someone would let the Germans do this kind of thing. If i had know about it i would have done something about it. The allied forces including us, did not bomb the railroads or parts of the camps. I think that they should of at least hit the railroads to cut them off! I think that something more could have been done to prevent this.

Genocide

I think the reason that Genocide keeps happining is that people are not do not know alot about the past. It is evident that history will repeate itself and the only way to stop that is to learn form our mistakes. It only makes sense that we have to stop this terible thing from repeating itself. The was to stop it is to stop the people in charge and teach everyone about the past. The way that this is possible is to have people read books like Night and hear the few remaining voices of the people that went through the horrible event. By people writing and talking about the past will help not make Genocide repeate.

just thinking

As i sit here at my computer I am thinking of what to write. I soon here the wind blow outside in the cold, how i hate the cold weather! I cant wait to move to North Carolina where it is warmer. I soon then jump to the thought of my friend and sister's bofriend(Rob). He is a senior at Sparta and has been my friend, and my sister BF, since about 2 and 1/2 years ago. He has recently not been accepted to his first choice and safty school, the other is a reach. I will be moving down to North Carolina in late summer before next semester of school. I will be attending UNC. Since my sister is still a junior in high school my parents and her will be staying here untill she graduates school here. So i am left with the house in North Carolina by myself. I had offered him the chance to join me. i thought of all the good times we would have, but he declined. He wanted to stay in newjersey with my sister, i cant blam him. but now my sister wants to go to college in NC so times have changed. I am thinking of asking again.

CH 1

The first chapter of the book Night was very well writen. I think that the author of the book is a good writer. He has great courge to tell his story. He could just forget the event happened to him and not tell anyone because he does not want to relive it. But no he writes the book to inform everyone and to make sure it does not happen again. The writer has gone through alot of regilious pratice and does not believe the warning of the man. I think he will soon regret the decission.

Introduction

Hi my name is Rod and I am a Freshman at Montclair State University. I am going to college for Business with a conceration in Hospility Managment. I am planing to transfer and move to North Carloina this Fall. This is because of two reasons, one is I am sick of the cold weather and two is my parents are moving there is two years but they are building a house for when they go down, but i am staying in it untill my sister finishes high school. I am looking forward to this because when i go to buy a house in the future it is cheaper in the North Carolina then New Jersey.
